This workshop includes a pre-requisite asynchronous course, My Approach to Conflict, that utilizes the Thomas Kilmann conflict model and associated assessment, the Thomas Kilmann Inventory (TKI), to describe a range of possible responses to conflict.
The workshop builds on the course and an 11-page assessment report (downloaded after completing the assessment) to explore the importance of aligning conflict response to the conditions and goals of a given conflict.
The workshop includes advice on applying these insights to communication strategies that promote healthy collaboration and resilient interactions. It concludes with participants creating a plan for workshop integration and identifying possible next steps in their professional development process.
