Leadership Development for Teams: Introduction

Aspirational goals and complex structures are best led by a team, with each individual contributing unique expertise, skills, and perspective. How does a team develop the coordination, agreements, and resilience to do this well?

This introductory course in the Leadership Development for Teams series blends brief experiences with team and individual coaching with asynchronous learning and reflection to advance the success of your team and the endeavors you lead together.

Enrollment fees are per team member. This program is easily applied to teams of 3-10 people. For larger teams, please contact learn@kardiagroup.com.

1. Identify individual and team development goals.

2. Foster communication and understanding within a team.

3. Establish or strengthen a growth mindset and a culture of professional development.

4. Prepare individuals and a team to engage in coaching, 360 reviews, and other professional development.

Session 4 - Team Coaching 1: Creating a Collaborative Growth Mindset

Sessions 5 and 6 - Individual Assessment and Coaching; My Approach to Conflict
Asynch: 60 min
Live sessions: 30 min and 45 min

Session 7 - Team Coaching 2: Creating Resilience Under Stress

Session 8 - How to Make Good Use of Coaching* and other Professional Development
Asynch: 30 min

*This session includes presentations by a panel of coaches experienced with leadership development in academia, followed by Q&A.
